A Present For You
Today I celebrated 28 rotations around the sun.
As my birthday comes to a close I've been reflecting on this past year and all the incredible things that have transpired. It's been an incredible year of mostly ups, but some downs too. I've learned more about my strength as a mother and partner than I ever thought I would. My breastfeeding journey has been a huge part of this last year, and I'm sure will continue to be a part of this coming one.
I'd like to end my birthday celebration by giving back, so I am going to pick 2 people and send them each a pin from Milk Making Mamas etsy page. Love your blog Murphy! So honest and vulnerable. I shared your blog (happily). I'd love a pin as my son was the most amazing surprise (after being told my Doctors in WI and IL that I couldn't get pregnant without significant medical intervention. My husband and I are in love with our sweet baby, now 4.5 months old. Breastfeeding was a serious struggle in the beginning, lots of tears and misinformation made things unnecessarily hard for us. After hiring a lactation consultant, breastfeeding became something so nurturing to my soul and 'cup-filling'. I feel so honored that I can do this for my son and I cherish all the special moments it has already brought us : )
